------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 5 08:10:30 +0000 2008 ------- At least to my knowledge, there is no "all users desktop" folder in GNOME (not sure about KDE). So to get a link on the user's desktop we had to copy the file around, where we would leave it in the event of the application being removed. I strongly advice against using the latter approach for creating the desktop link, so I recommend make this part optional for the X11 desktop environments and implement it only for those having an "all users" equivalent. Also I wonder whether to place the "OpenOffice.org" launch menu item beside the application specific one makes sense - I would prefer trying to get it to the top level of the launch menu. Last but not least: is the referenced specification replacing http://specs.openoffice.org/appwide/menus/desktop_menu_integration.sxw ? If not, references to each other should probably be added. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
