Why doesn't MS Office or OpenOffice.org have Tabs like Firefox for different files open in one window? - Rather than having a new window for each Word or Excel document open we could have one Writer/Calc window open with tabs for each separate file that's open.. This way you save not only task-bar/dock space but make switching between them more efficient and easier with Ctl+Tab or Ctl+Shift+Tab or Ctl+ a number for whichever tab you want to go to :) My mom thought it was a great idea, and so did all of my friends whom I have brought this up to.
