jl->dv: To make automatic testing work gh need to adapt the automation project.
It will be necessary to export a header containing the testing functions, so the
automation project can use them. Since the Extension Manager list box is not
public one could declare a class with abstract methods maybe in svtool, which
then is inherited by the list box.
