Please provide exact step-by-step instructions on how to access the dialog you
posted in the screenshot.
This doesn't match the dialog in the vanilla 2.3.1 version at all.
Your dialog is missing the "Automatische Dateinamenserweiterung" checkbox.
I suspect your distribution modified the dialogbox to not show that checkbox and
caused this error.
The option is labeled "Mit Kennwort speichern" in vanilla OOo.
So either not (vanilla) version 2.3.1, or not the dialog you get when choosing
File|Save as in Writer/Calc/Impress.
