------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 22 17:48:44 +0000 2008 ------- OpenOffice 2.1 Base uses Calc as a "helper application" for the purpose of importing data in the form of tab-delimited text. However, when I attempted to use Calc to load data regarding voters in Broward County, Florida (which has nearly 1 million voters), Calc failed with an error message indicating that it could only load 65,536 records (its design limit) and thus the rest were truncated. This makes OpenOffice Base unusable with respect to this or any other non-miniature database. Request that Calc be revised to eliminate the 65,536-record limitation, or that some other means be developed whereby Base can import and export tab-delimited text containing 1 million or more records. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
