This is a problem with the interaction with X11.
If you want to fix this, you will need to know some Applescript, and edit the
scripts in OpenOffice.org
2.4.app/Contents/Resources/Scripts/
As this is problem does not affect aqua, and ooo 2.4 is the last release of
X11, we don't have the
resources to spend on this problem.
