Permissions are like this: ls -l /opt/openoffice.org2.4/share/uno_packages/cache/ -rw-rw---- 1 root root 976 2008-04-02 14:04 log.txt drwxrwx--- 8 root root 4096 2008-04-02 13:48 registry -rw-rw---- 1 root root 1 2008-04-02 14:04 stamp.sys drwxrwx--- 2 root root 4096 2008-04-02 14:04 uno_packages -rw-rw---- 1 root root 12288 2008-04-02 14:04 uno_packages.db This renders OOo unusable, no user can start OOo anymore. OOo says it cannot determine the desktop locale.
