* open an application, which one doesn't matter
* do File -> Save as...
* find a file you already have on your disk and right-click it
* choose Rename
* press the Esc key
* OOo crashes

I looked for something similar in the issue tracker but was not able to find
anything close to this, sorry if I'm duplicating something.

I am able to reproduce this bug on Debian Etch, Etch+backports, Lenny, Sid -
versions 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 - on Debian Sid/OOo 2.4 I tried every application,
using a currently opened file or another one with the same result.
The bug seems to only be about the Esc key, pressing Enter insted of Esc,
effectively renaming the file, just works. Renaming the folder containing the
file gets OOo to re-create the original folder with the original file in it.
Renaming a folder inside a folder in which OOo has no write permissions produces
an error but no crash.

Ok, that's it!
