(The only thing that changed with this issue is the documentation.) - The class you present is fine with respect to using generateOid, as it uses a UNO object's OID only while the UNO object is alive (as it holds a reference to it through compo). The problem discussed in issue 83863 was that you cannot meaningfully use a UNO object's OID independent of the UNO object's lifetime. (And to help others avoid running into the pitfall that creates, this issue was about clearing up the relevant documentation.
