We just noticed that on openSuSE 10.3 /usr/bin/thunderbird is a symbolic link to
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird.sh instead of /usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird
. Unfortunately the '.sh' variant does not preserve the exit code of
thunderbird-bin, so OOo always thinks there is a running instance of thunderbird
and passes the -remote switch (apparantly the 'aoss' script run from the '.sh'
variant doesn't do so as well).
So, with this patch, the situation changed from "does only work if thunderbird
is _not_ running" to "does only work if thunderbird is already running".
