I did that, it was actually quite straightforward after I read

I was unable to reproduce the crash, both with OO.o 2.4.0 and OO.o 2.3.1
downloaded from the official website, so you should probably close this issue.
It looks like we won't find out what caused the crash, but at least I have a
working version of OO.o now :-)
