------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 11 13:51:57 +0000 2008 ------- I'm running Windows XP Professional (on a Lenovo Thinkpad R60) and just upgraded to the latest version of OpenOffice, 2.4. I've been using it fine for a couple of weeks but just tried to modify a style in Writer and the program froze up. The program reacted as it does when there is a dialog or window open that requires attention (you click elsewhere and it beeps), but there is no dialog window open that allows me to change the styles. In short, it is impossible for me to modify styles in OpenOffice. I can apply styles, but I can't modify them. Plus, there is no way to get out of the program short of killing the program and restarting. I can't close whatever dialog is open since I can't see it or find it. This bug kills the program! I've used this feature thousands of times with past versions of the software and never had an issue. In fact, this is the feature that I love the most about OpenOffice. I have since replicated the bug 4 or 5 times in Writer and also verified that it happens in Calc. I've only tested this on my work computer, so maybe it is my computer. But I thought I should report it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
