Confirmed that this can be duplicated on the Mac X11 version of 2.4. This is
not a showstopper but should be fixed for 2.4.1 and 3.0 as this is definitely a
regression from 2.3.1 actions. Saving an .xls to .ods and opening the .ods file
did not show a need for saving on a new file. However, saving a modified .ods
file as .xls and then opening the .xls file did.
