Users might NOT be aware that something was imported as DATE [IF only some of the numbers happen to be imported as that] 2.) How can one expect that users will perform this complex repetitive task every time they open a CSV-file, when everything should just work perfectly in the first place. I have a rather different perception of user satisfaction and usability. 3.) This issue pops up over and over again. So please do NOT close as WORKSFORME when in fact, it is more appropriate to close as a double of issue 87999.
