------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 21 04:08:49 -0800 2005 ------- I have still the problem with printing. I use OOo 1.1.4 on gentoo with xorg-x11 v6.8.2. You can see my problems on following pictures. There are some problems with characters in openoffice.org but different problems in PS. There is no problem in exported PDF. You can find files generated by me here: http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/czech.sxw http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/czech.ps (check the source, there is %%BeginResource: procset PSPrint-Prolog 1.0 0 /ISO1252Encoding ...) http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/czech.pdf My list of fonts: http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/xlsfonts.txt Here are some screen snapshots: * http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/czech-openoffice.png - this shows how my openoffice.org 1.1.4 looks with the czech letters with different fonts. + Times New Roman, Century Schoolbook L, Courier, Arial, Lucida Bright and Nimbus Roman No9 L look fine + Bitstream Charter and Courier 10 Pitch have problems with some characters (not all!) * http://slave.umbr.cas.cz/~wolf/OOo/latest/czech-postscript-ghostscript.png - shows how the printed PS output looks (the http://..../czech.ps file mentioned above) + fonts Century Schoolbook L, Arial, Lucida Bright and Nimbus Roman No9 L are OK + Times New Roman, Bitstream Charter, Courier and Courier 10 Pitch have problems. Some of fonts correct in OOo are in PS destroyed. I'm not sure, if you will be able to reproduce it, because this problem is only in some specific configuration (which I don't know). My friend has no problem and I had no problem in Debian or Knoppix. There is very different behaviour for different environment (I tested Gentoo with own X, then on X from Knoppix running OOo from chroot Gentoo, and then completely running on Knoppix). Try to open czech.sxw file (or write a few czech characters with different fonts) and try to print or save PS file. Please, give your generated PS file to somewhere and send me the link, so I can see the content. Can I test new version on my Gentoo Linux? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
