------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 17 15:29:57 +0000 2008 ------- When writing a document in Writer, I often use the inline formatting commands (for example, _this would be underlined_ *and this would be bolded*). When combining _underlined *and bold* in the same text_ it is the case that the underlining is not `turned off' by the trailing underscore character (`_'). This issue appears on my WinXP installation of OOo 2.4. It also occurred in all versions of OOo 2.3 and was reported under issue 24512 To replicate this defect, type the following into a Writer document: This is plain text _this is underlined text *this is bold and underlined text* this is underlined text_ this should be plain text. While the ending clause `this should be plain text' in the sentence above should be not underlined and not bolded, they remain underlined. The same problem does not occur when using the menu, toolbar or control-character commands for text formatting. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
