weired, I can reproduce with plain m2 and m6 as well as m7/notes4:
Type a word, then a table below it and again some words.
- selecting a word before the table, pressing Ctrl-B to change to bold
--> all table ankors are below the table now
- selecting a word behind the table, pressing Ctrl-B
--> all table ankors are in front of the table
-- selecting a word inside the table, pressing Ctrl-B
--> table cursor jumps and you get a selection
