We will mainly integrate fixes for crashes or data loss or if a part of the office is not usable in OOo 2.4.1. You are right, that this issue is annoying but please let us keep the OOo 2.4.1 as small as possible and let us integrate this issue in OOo 3.0 It is more time and effort to fix this also for OOo 2.4.1 then it seems to be, therefore I would ask you to wait for OOo 3.0 which will be the next version after OOo 2.4.1 and will not last too long.
