In Mandriva Linux 2008 Spring, there is no KDE support, the vcl KDE plugin does
not work, so OOo has a completely "strange" (alien) look & feel, instead of the
KDE's l&f.
The problem is that the shared library kdebe1.uno.so isn't loaded, because the
system uses a libstdc++.so with the same major as used to build OOo, but a
different minor.

The error in OOo 2.4:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ ldd -v openoffice.org2.4/program/kdebe1.uno.so
openoffice.org2.4/program/kdebe1.uno.so:
/home/ariel/openoffice.org2.4/program/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9'
not found (required by /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4)

The error in DEV300_m9:

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ ldd -v
OOo_DEV300_m9/openoffice.org/basis3.0/program/kdebe1.uno.so
OOo_DEV300_m9/openoffice.org/basis3.0/program/kdebe1.uno.so:
/home/ariel/OOo_DEV300_m9/openoffice.org/basis3.0/program/../ure-link/lib/libstdc++.so.6:
version `GLIBCXX_3.4.9' not found (required by /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.4)
