Despite having been raised several times in issue 7998 as being an important
feature the regression equations feature of Chart still does not include
polynomial equations and as far as I can tell has not been slated as an
enhancement.

So here it is, a formal feature request, please add support for polynomial
equations to Chart regression equations.

PS in issue 7998 the devs asked for comments and a number of people did comment,
I think mostly constructively. What a pity that none of the devs could be
bothered to respond. This just leaves those of us who want to support OOO
wandering if we are wasting our time and the devs are going to go their own
merry way regardless
