I don't think know farsi numbers but I assume that they have different UniCode values than arabic numbers and so won't be converted. And you also should consider that we do the change only for text with an "arabic" language attribute. If you have an example document that shows the problem you suspect to happen, please attach it to this issue so that someone can check that.
