If you find it more convenient to make your own master/slave docs, here is the short way to do it. 1) Save a new blank doc as Slave.odt 2) Save the same blank doc as Master.odm (File>Send>Create Master Document) 3) Add link to Slave into Master. (Right-click Text icon in Navigator pane. Insert>File) 4) Save modified Master. To demonstrate problem, close and reopen Master.
