------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 29 12:39:52 +0000 2008 ------- I just installed Ubuntu 8.04 with Open Office 2.4.0 and the BJC-4200 printer is printing normally with documents created in OO 2.4. When I opened text documents created on earlier versions, say on 2.1 or 2.2, I had to first export them to PDF before I was able to print them, though a spreadsheet created previously did print normally. CUPS configuration with the BJC-4200 on Ubuntu 8.04 was issue-free: the BJC-4200 was recognized and the bjc600 driver was the only one selected for install. I use the default printer options, with black ink selected as the only color to be used. Hope this helps.
