2008 -------
(bug was found with french version).
Create a new sheet.
Enter numbers in a column.
Select the column and set the cell format to "User defined" with format:
[COLOR3]# ##0.00
Numbers are displayed in green (expected).
Save and close the document.
Re-open the document and color format is lost.
If instead of [COLOR3] (which is valid) you enter [RED] for example, problem 
does not occur.
