------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 2 07:23:15 +0000 2008 ------- Welcome screen (3.0 new) has the phrase "Welcomd to OpenOffice.org". Currently, translation target is just "Welcome to"(keyid 474437) and it's always prior to OpenOffice.org. This is not always safe considering localization. For example, Japanese natural phrase for it is "OpenOffice.org へようこそ", so the translation target string should be "Welcome to %PRODUCTNAME". Then we can translate that phrase correctly as "%PRODUCTNAME へようこそ". I just changed Japanese translation to "ようこそ" from "へようこそ" tentatively, but it's not real fix for this problem.
