In an Impress presentation, any line that ends in a ")" will be mistranslated
when saved as ".ppt" (Powerpoint binary format). If you "Save as" .ppt, and
then open the .ppt using Powerpoint, any ")" at the end of a line will be
translated into a ")" followed by an extraneous "Enter" character. This makes
presentations that have lots of them rather ugly. Increasingly this is the ONLY
problem I have when translating an Impress file into .ppt.

A workaround is to add a space character after a ")" at the end of a line, but
this is annoying, easily forgotten, and it also messes up anything that's
right-aligned or justified (such as titles on some formats).
