------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 5 16:26:45 +0000 2008 ------- In an Impress presentation, any line that ends in a ")" will be mistranslated when saved as ".ppt" (Powerpoint binary format). If you "Save as" .ppt, and then open the .ppt using Powerpoint, any ")" at the end of a line will be translated into a ")" followed by an extraneous "Enter" character. This makes presentations that have lots of them rather ugly. Increasingly this is the ONLY problem I have when translating an Impress file into .ppt. A workaround is to add a space character after a ")" at the end of a line, but this is annoying, easily forgotten, and it also messes up anything that's right-aligned or justified (such as titles on some formats). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
