After importing an unsupported file into my presentation, Impress crashed. I
opened it up again and it asked to restore the document, which I did. However,
though I continued working on my presentation and saved it multiple times, it
never actually saved anywhere. Instead, the version that existed before the
crash remained in its original directory, but the more recent changes were gone.
I discovered this situation after the fact, and now my document is missing.

tl;dr, restoring a file didn't do jack.

Sorry I can't provide more info but this is all I know of the problem. (Yes,
the file IS gone. Extensive search was performed. Even checked deleted data
using Restoration too...) Hopefully this'll just tip you off to the problem so
that it'll get fixed in 2.4.1.
