User fs changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ CC|'' |'cd,mt' -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed| |1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEW -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 7 11:08:59 +0000 2008 ------- fs->pl,jianhuajiao: The patch looks good, however, I have some headache with some scenarios I need to try out - and I simply didn't find the time to do so, yet. fs->jianhuajiao: While the patch properly touches all needed places, the problem is that there are *other* places which also change a control's visibility. For instance, if you put a control into a section (in Writer) which you hide, then the control is hidden, too. I am pretty sure that with your patch, when you then un-hide the section, the control is made visible - even if its visibility property is FALSE. Similar, in UNO dialogs (which your patch also affects), control visibility is implicitly switched when the dialog's Step property changes. So, in short: control today visibility is controlled by some side conditions, and my gut feeling tells me your patch interferes with those. However, I need to apply the patch and try some things ... I copy MT and CD on this issue - they suggested a mechanism where the visible property is only propagated from the model to the control when it changes from TRUE to FALSE, but not when it changes from FALSE to TRUE. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
