------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 7 15:21:20 +0000 2008 ------- In Writer 2.4, it was possible to click on the font color icon to bring up a window that could change the font, font effects, positioning, etc. And if one wanted to simply change the font color, one could click on the arrow to the side of that button to bring down a box of color choices. The text would then become that color for any further typed characters. In 3.0 beta, it seems that both of these features have been dropped. The only way I see to change font colors is to click the color and then highlight over the text. 2.4 had this feature too, but it also had the other features. Despite the ability to pre-define styles, it is also useful to be able to quickly change the font color at the cursor on the fly. Hopefully this is just something that slipped in during the beta work and the regression will not show up in the final. I have only tested this on the Windows build and have not yet been able to get the Linux build to run, but I suspect this might show up on all builds. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
