Hello

Error Reproduction:

Attached Files:

585char.xls - original file with 585 unicode ext B characters in xls format.
Only 1 column, each cell contains one character. Total 585 chars.
(Note: Calc saves and open correctly in .xls format)

585char.xls was opened and then saved as below:

585char_odf12.ods (ODF 1.2 size without size optimized for ODF format). See
580charerr_odf11_12.jpg
585char_odf11.ods (ODF 1.1 size without size optimized for ODF format). See
580charerr_odf11_12.jpg
(Note: 585char_odf11.ods and 585char_odf12.ods caused exactly the same error.
They also contained missing characters at cell 462 and 470)

585char_odf11_optimized.ods (ODF 1.1 size optimized for ODF format). See
580charerr_odf11_12_optimized.jpg
585char_odf12_optimized.ods (ODF 1.2 size optimized for ODF format). See
580charerr_odf11_12_optimized.jpg
(Note: 585char_odf11_optimized.ods and 585char_odf12_optimized.ods caused
exactly the same error. They also contained a missing character at cell 198)

- All 4 .ods contained missing characters (by opening the content.xml and search
for "<text:p></text:p>")

When I saved those problematic charaters alone in .ods
(3missing_char12_optimized.ods and 3missing_char12.ods), Calc opened them
normally.

Potential bug:
In additional to the above problem, I still suspected Issue 87614 I reported
Calc in OOo 2.4.0 (Calc confused newlines "\n" with some of the characters under
windows environment) exists in OOo 3.0 (Issue 87614 happened in OOo 2.4.0
without any missing character)

Thankyou

Stephen
