My apologies in advance, I'm just an enduser completely baffled by your complex
method of reporting issues. Here's my question:

I have a 5 year old desktop computer, and I'm phasing it out and replacing it
with a new laptop. The desktop uses windows xp, (updated to latest version, home
edition) the laptop is windows vista. The desktop had open office version 1.1
on it.

Today I downloaded the latest version (2.4.0) of Open Office onto my laptop. I
created some files, then moved them onto the desktop computer to print them...
and there were small problems on the page, probably caused by the differences in
versions of the open office software. SO I downloaded 2.4.0 onto my desktop as
well, until i finally phase it out completely.

In both cases, as soon as the installation was completed, my spyware client
identified two "high risk" items added to the machines. I deleted them from the
desktop and they did not return, but they return immediately on my laptop
whenever I delete them.

The items are entitled "Boss EveryWare" and they are categorized as registry
keys. Their values are HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.dbf and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\.dbf

Can you tell me anything about these? What do they do? Do they put my security
at risk? And how do I remove them from my laptop so that they will stay gone?

-Brad
