@GH: The reason is the maximum width for a needed index inside the database,
AFAIK you know this! Root cause: development defined that GID/LID are
case-sensitive so we had to limit the GID/LID for the used index. And no, we do
not disable the index, casue of performance issues.
In short: Reduce the GID/LID as specified some years ago or adapt the GID/LID
creation process by getting the strings to shorten them.
