I have noticed alot of incompatibilities between OOo Base and the new 2.0
QuickStarter. All error reports submitted are relevant to OOo 2.0 Beta Build
1.9.87. For the most part, it's assumed, that for these instances, the
quickstarter is on.

A: When I go to start OOo base from the start menu, my mouse turns into an
hour glass then back to a cursor. Nothing happens

B: When I open the .odb file manualy, it loads fine, then when I go to add
data to a form, OOo tells me that it wasn't able to access the database file.
When I close the quickstarter and do this over, it works. Though the
quickstarter still starts, it would appear as though the file is loaded, into
Base AND THEN OOo quickstarter is loaded after.

C: Sometimes OOo Base will blatably refuse to save an open database file when
I click the save button, and quickstarter is running. Even when I exit OOo
base, it will beg me to save the file, so I'll say yeah, sure. And it won't
save. I have to force OOo base to close manualy. When I go back in, OOo alerts
me that in fact OOo base crashes, BUT! The file saves just fine when OOo
quickstarter isn't running.

Observable causes: Could the quickstarter and OOo base be consuming the same
resources? Would it be valuabel to duplicate a set of resources EXCLUSIVELY
for the quickstarter, or perhaps vice versa, OOo Base?

Option #2: Could OOo Base be un-tied from the OOo quickstarter? That is to say
it runs on its own set of objects, and components foundation so that there
isn't this confusion until the incompatibilities can be fixed...

I'm nto sure how easy it is to duplicate resources and re-bind API's but it
might work. You never know.

     Rigel
