------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 21 15:18:46 +0000 2008 ------- Hi, I found a nasty bug while pasting simple cells from Excel 2007, to Calc. It appears that if the Excel cell contains more than 255 characters, the excess characters are stripped off when the Excel cell is pasted into Calc. Conversely, when a Calc cell is pasted into Excel 2007, if it is more than 255 characters long it will paste a blank cell. It's quite easy to reproduce : - Create an excel spreadhseet with a single cell that contains a sentence longer than 255 characters, - open it with Excel 2007, - copy the cell, - paste it into Calc - see how it gets trimmed off. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
