Bottom Line:
-----------------
If a column in the database has a special format and the database is linked up
to a Form, the value stored into the database from the form is 0.

How to Create Issue:
-----------------------
I set up a field in the database table "Phonebook" as type BigInt with a format
string "\(???\)???-????" and called it "Phone number". Then I connected the
database table "Phonebook" to a Form which I created using the "Use Wizard
Create Form..." option. Then I ereased the values from max and Min range so any
number would be accepted for phone numbers inputed. When in running mode of the
form if you type in a phone number such as 1234567890 and press tab it will auto
format it correctly; however, when you go to the next record and then come back
to the previous record the phone number shows up as if it was never entered in;
however. it shows "(   )   -    ".

Important Note:
----------------
If you type in the phone number without tabbing, and then hit the save record
button on the tool bar. Next click on next record button also on the toolbar and
the phone number is stored properly.
