Open a form in edit mode Switch back to the Base window and double click the same form The form comes to the front and stays in edit mode - great. (everything seems to work correctly ) Now With the form opened in edit mode switch modes to data entry ( don't close it, just switch ) Go back to the Base window and double click the same form name again The form pops to the top..you can work with it. It all seems good, until you try to close the form - you can't. However - and this different you can close the Base file - and this will close the form now. So it isn't the problem is was - but there is still something weird going on there.
