------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 23 09:41:18 +0000 2008 ------- when opening Writer or Impress (hebrew UI) i get "empty boxes" characters in tabs labels that are not in focus. active tab get correct hebrew font displayed. this happen in all dialogs that have tabs in them. both on Writer and Impress. (i saw it on Calc too, but you have an issue report on that already http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=87970 ) the entire interface is in hebrew and i am using fedora 8 with updated OO 2.3.0-6.14.fc8 i disabled and later enabled "use system fonts" preference with not help system locale is en_US.UTF-8 (setting the he_IL.UTF-8 does not help) this also happen inside all OOo dialogs' not-in-focus tabs ! only when i use Culmus hebrew fonts (Yehuda CLM) in GNOME's Application Fonts and choose "use system fonts" in OOo the issue is solved. but this is a workaround since it used to function properly for long time now with Sans fonts - DejaVu Sans and others that have correct hebrew glyphs. the localized hebrew version of OO 2.3.1 (from Tk systems - openoffice.org.il) does not suffer from this issue :-) but version 2.4.0 in debian sid does have it . --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
