------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 24 04:10:37 +0000 2008 ------- When trying to save a file using "save as" from a USB key that had a "#" symbol in the filename, I kept getting a blank save dialog. The main components of the dialog would appear as blank white boxes, and would simply not load. Files on my hard disk would load just fine. Changing the name of the USB key fixed the problem. I tested this again with a folder named "a#a". The exact same thing happened. Openoffice cannot use "save as" on any file that is currently saved in a directory with the sharp/number symbol in its path. Interestingly, this does not apply to files that have a sharp symbol in the name itself. It only seems to cause problems when it is in the directory path. In addition, this problem launches the program into an infinite loop that consumes 100% cpu power, with 20% of that going to Xorg. I don't know if that detail is helpful, but there it is. This issue is obviously relatively minor, since the "#" symbol is not commonly used in directory names, but it can still be an annoyance, and seems like the fix should be relatively minor. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
