I opened issue 89825 to deal specifically with the script type for numbers.

@nadavkav: Of course you can set the font sizes of Western and CTL fonts in such
a manner, that you won't feel so much the effects of this issue. 

But be aware: If you have a close look, you'll see that David and Times New
Roman actually are very different in their typeface, especially with digits and
punctuation characters (while the letters A-z are actually quite the same). So
the issue is not about the size alone. For more details, please have a look at
issue 89825.
