------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 31 16:35:35 +0000 2008 ------- The new Microsoft Office 2007 file formats docx, pptx, and xlsx are not file- associated in XP with OpenOffice (3.0 beta). This means one has to manually find OpenOffice and open it with that. (That usually doesn't work if there is StarOffice also installed, as well.) I checked "yes" to file-associate doc, ppt, xls during the beta install, but that didn't work.
