Create a new empty presentation: - Ctrl-N, - then in presentation wizard click create for an empty presentation - you should have a completely empty presentation now. 2. Copy the text below, and paste onto the blank presentation page. One Two Three 3. Select the text. 4. Do Format->Bullet and Numbering and choose and bullet format. OK to apply. Notice now that the text is in bullet format, but that the Promote, demote, move up, move down buttons are greyed out. The attached presentation shows this behaviour. Place cursor in the list, and notice the buttons greyed out. Notice also on page 2 that these buttons work.
