- open a new text document
- from the Form Controls toolbar, insert a new Text Box control
=> error: Region: invalid mnRectCount!
=> the control does not have a border

Actually, the main problem here is that in design mode, form controls are
improperly painted - they never have a border. If you switch in alive mode, then
you see the border is actually there, it's just not painted in design mode.
The assertion (which pops up with every paint of a form control in design mode)
sounds as if it could point to the root cause of the problem ...
