REPRODUCTION:
=============

DEADKEYS:

1. enable deadkeys
comment out "nodeadkeys" in Section "InputDevice" of /etc/X11/xorg.conf:

2. in OO.o m88 try to input a tilde or an accented character with dead_acute or
dead_grave character

=>results in character only (no acute or grave)

COMPOSE:

1. first make sure you have a compose key (e.g. map on Menu key on PC keyboard)
xmodmap -e "keysym Menu = Multi_key"

2. try to compose a character:
Compose + Comma + C should result in c_cedilla "Ã"

=> results in C
