[B Osman 11 june 08]:
Summary: Attempted to reproduce the missing bullet points when set
against a paragraph. Tested in both Windows XP and Ubuntu 7.10 using
Open Office - dev 3.0 ***Unable to Reproduce***

Environment:1) Windows XP version 2002 SP2 - machine is a virtual
machine running in Virtual PC 2007 with 736MB of RAM and using a Pentium
D 3.20GHz processor 2) Ubuntu 7.10 running in Virtual Box with 1024 MB
of RAM and using a Pentium D 3.2GHz processor

Steps to Reproduce:
Windows XP - Opened Impress and created a new vanilla slideshow (i.e. no
background, no effects) > Selected Title Slide and added Text in the
slide *body* (a 'paragraph' size body of text)> Highlighted the text and
turned buttons on (button now applied against paragraph) > Selected menu
- Slide Show - Slideshow (played slide)> Bullets still appear.

Added a new slide - Title Text slide > created text against existing
bulletpoints > played slideshow (this time by pressing <F5>) > bullets
still appear.

Went to menu - Format - Bullets and Numbering and changed the bullet
type (using different styles of bullets and using the graphical style
bullet)> applied these to the newly created slideshow and played >
bullets still appear.

Also added a paragraph to the Notes section and attempting to add bullets.
Unable to do so - (personal opinion: Possible original reporter may be
referring to here?)

Retraced above steps on Ubuntu 7.10 with the same results - bullets
still appear.
