>From time to time I consult people about using OOo. Many questions are "where

X meniu item or functionality", "how can I do this". For example, changing the
text language for documents is burried quite deeply.

So the "quick-launch" could direct to the needed functionality:
maybe it would be "quick-find" way: just list items (in sidebar for example),
which could be pressed to call the needed dialogs
or if just one match is found, the menu item could be folded out directly.

This could also help in one more way:
over time there were different translations of the menu items in our language, 
so it could search also "synonims" (may be even jargon -- which would not show
in the menus).
