When writing a user manual with OpenOffice Writer I use pictures and draw arrows
taken from the drawing toolbar in them to pinpoint something. In most cases I
have to save such a document in Word 97/2000/XP format.
Doing this leads to a dramatical dimension change of this arrow. The arrow gets
a lot bigger and the position changes.
You can witness this when opening this document with Word but also when
reopening it with Writer. If you save it again in Word format the arrow gets
even bigger.
Saving the initial document in the *.odt format does not lead to changes in
these dimensions and position.
This phenomena is not new it also occurred in version 2.1.4 and earlier.
It's really annoying. I have to correct all these arrows later using Word and I
had hoped it was tackled with OOo 3.0
