To simulate:

1. Open a new Impress document, select menu "Insert" -> "Special Characters".
Pick, for example, U+7180, U+7181.
2. Cut-and-paste the 2 characters from Impress to Writer, it works.
3. Cut-and-paste the 2 characters from Impress to Wordpad, it works.
4. Select the 2 characters from Wordpad and cut-and-paste it as "RTF" back to
Writer. Nothing happens.
5. Select the 2 characters from Wordpad and cut-and-paste it as "Unformatted
Text" back to Writer. It works.
