If mpWindowImpl is NULL then the window was already destroyed, which means you're working with a dead window. In fact *this* has to be fixed. Additionally, as FS pointed out, the stack is totally unrelated to the described crash and to the fix. Don't you have a stack that actually motivates your fix ?
