------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jun 19 09:58:58 +0000 2008 ------- Using "Unicode NSIS" causes some changes in our Perl packaging process, because the nsh and the nlf file, in which we substitute our strings, are UTF-16 encoded in "Unicode NSIS". We would require UTF-8 encoding. So the new process should convert UTF-16 to UTF-8 (nsh and nlf file), make the exchanges in Perl using our nsis.ulf (also UTF-8 encoded, not using the nsis.mlf that we use today) and then convert back the edited nsh and nlf file from UTF-8 to UTF-16. Unfortunately there seems to be no more time left to implement this changes. Does anybody know such a converter tool (UTF-16 to UTF-8 to UTF-16), that we can use on Windows platform (like iconv on Unix) and that would become a prerequisite for OOo builds? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
