------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jun 21 05:16:42 +0000 2008 ------- I have seen MANY postings for this flavor of bug, and all look closed, yet I still get the behavior listed below. I hope that the following information will help squash this bug once and for all. To see this bug... Build a new file with the following 3 lines A AA AB select 1st line and set format to "Heading 1" select first line and set numbering to outline select 2nd line and set format to "Heading 2" select 3rd line and set format to "Heading 2" file should now look like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB now save file now close file now reopen file now add a 4th line B so that the file looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB B select forth line and set format to "Heading 1" file now looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 1 B but it should look like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 2 B NOW, to "TRY" fix it manually... place cursor in front of the 'B' in 4th line backspace until file looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 ABB now press enter (when cursor is between the B's) so the file looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 1.3 B and 4th line is of format "Heading 2" now select "Heading 1" for 4th line but the file changes to 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 1 B so it is not fixed. To really fix it, do the following from this point place cursor in front of the 'B' in 4th line backspace until file looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 ABB now press enter (cursor is between the B's) so the file looks like 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 1.3 B now select 4th line and with right mouse, move up one level. File now is correct as 1 A 1.1 AA 1.2 AB 2 B This behavior does not appear to happen in a freshly newly opened file. But, it does happen at any level of the outline numbered headings when a file is reopened. But, only the hightest (first) level of numbering is incorrect. Also, an export to latex seems to put the correct \sub...subsection level so the level is "known" but is not displayed correctly. Finally, headings that fall into this malady do not appear in the TOC. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
